The Wolfe Tones enjoyed phenomenal success with 13 best-selling albums\, 3 number one hits\, many television appearances and shows in esteemed venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and The Royal Albert Hall in London. \nSince breaking away from the Wolfe Tones in 2001\, Derek’s solo career has yielded 11 albums to date\, the most successful of them being On the One Road\, The Bonnie Blue Flag and Let Ye All be Irish Tonight. With the formation and ongoing success of The Young Wolfe Tones\, the legend of Derek Warfield continues. \nLEGACY – THE YOUNG WOLFE TONES\nIn 2001\, after nearly 40 years performing\, the legendary Wolfe Tones parted with their founder and leader – Derek Warfield. No other Irish folk group\, before or since\, told the story of Ireland so completely and unapologetically. But for Derek’s hunger and desire to continue to further the story of Ireland through song\, an ancient tradition might have lost perhaps its most iconic figure. In 2006 Derek put together a band containing some of the finest musicians and singers in Irish music – The Young Wolfe Tones. \nDamaris Woods\, Co. Meath – Banjo\nDamaris Woods from Co. Meath and is recognized as one of the foremost banjo players in Irish music.\nShe has made a major contribution in popularizing the banjo within Irish traditional music. Damaris has performed an extremely hectic touring schedule over the last decade across the world. She has appeared on the Irish Spring Tour in Germany and been part of performing groups in North America\, Australia and the prestigious Celtic Colours Festival in Cape Briton\, Canada. \nDamaris has appearances on many radio and television shows including Ireland’s The Late Late Show (RTÉ).\nDamaris is also a gifted music and many of her students have been prominent prizewinners in traditional music competitions over the last number of years. On an annual basis Damaris organizes the hugely popular traditional arts camp – The Ag Seinm Traditional Arts Camp in Co. Cavan\, Ireland.\nDespite her own hectic schedule she still manages to find time to teach at the Joe Mooney Summer School in Drunshambo every year as well as The University of Ulster\, Coleraine. \nAndreas Durkin is a native of Co. Cavan\, Ireland\nHe has been playing keyboard and singing since the age of 21\, as a solo artist\, and as a duo alongside his mother\, renowned Irish Country singer\, Kathy Durkin and\, as part of his own band “Cheap Whiskey”.  He has recorded 2 albums to date\, ‘The Land Across The Sea’ and ‘Roll Back The Clouds’ featuring great Irish and Celtic songs such as ‘Caledonia’\, ‘Leaving of Liverpool’ and ‘Boston Rose’ as well as alternative Irish songs like ‘Roll Back The Clouds’.  His most recent recording was ‘The Cowboy Rides Away’ which continues to get great radio play both locally and nationally.  Andreas has been touring the USA over the years.  He was musical director with one of Ireland’s top stars\, Tony Kenny\, for numerous tours\, and continues to perform alongside his mother Kathy\, and in a solo capacity both in Ireland and the USA.  Annually\, Andreas has featured on the Cruise of Irish Stars where he gets the chance to share the stage with Ronan Tynan\, Andy Cooney and many more.  Andreas has performed on many Irish television shows including Glór Tire on TG4 and Open House on RTÉ. \n\n\n\nCormac McGuinness\nCormac is from Tallaght in Co Dublin. He has been playing music and singing songs from an early age. His love for music comes from his grandfather Paddy Doyle. Paddy passed on his love of Irish song to all of his family. Cormac has toured Ireland\, England\, Australia and is now making his way across the United States both as a solo artist and with the band. His love and admiration for the late Luke Kelly is very evident in his performances. \n\n\n Cormac is the festivious of the band and his sense of humour brings a spirit of laughter to anyone who is fortunate enough to meet him. His nickname is the Foggy Dude.\n\n\n\n\nCormac has recently joined Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones and is very excited at the prospect of singing and playing instrumental music with such a diverse and eclectic group that has such a passion for Irish culture and history\, as well as performing to a wider audience. \n\n\nWayne Brereton\, Co. Offaly in Ireland\nHaving played in gigging bands from the age of 14\, Wayne was the guitar player for a once very popular Irish pop/rock band HOGAN. Having parted ways Wayne returned to his first love of music\, Ballad / Folk & Traditional Music where he is a member of the band Turas as well as fronting his own increasingly popular band The Cardinal Sins. Wayne would recognise Luke Kelly\, The Wolfe Tones\, Shane McGowan \, Sean Keane\, Liam Clancy\, Christy Moore and of course his multi-talented father as as his biggest influences for the crafting of his own style. Wayne is a fluent Gaelic speaker and also worked as a tour guide in Kilmainham Jail\, which puts him very much in tune with our musical culture of remembrance of our Irish songs & ballads. \nEddie Kane\, Allenwood in Co. Kildare\nEddie Kane is an accomplished singer and musician from Allenwood in Co. Kildare.  Eddie inherited his musical talents from his parents as his mother played in a traditional Irish music band with all her siblings\, when she was a young age and his father is known to sing an odd song or two. \nEddie started playing music locally when he was 11 years old\, taking part in music sessions in various locations in the afternoons at weekends.  As the years went on\, he grew in confidence and in his latter teenage years he toured Ireland with various Irish bands. Eddie also lived in Sligo for a period of time\, where he performed locally in the bars and venues. \nWhen Eddie finished his secondary education\, he decided he wanted to learn a trade and was very interested in being an electrician\, but also to still sing & perform and Eddie has recently completed his ESB apprenticeship.   \nMusic\, today\, is still Eddie’s big love.  His biggest influences are Christy Moore\, Andy Irvine\, Planxty\, The Wolfe Tones & Dervish to name but a few\, and in recent years he has been honoured to perform with some of these acts on stage.  In the last few years\, he has performed with many groups and singers such as the Rising Sons\, Paddy Mangan\, Meadbh Walsh and of course with Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfe Tones. Over the last year Eddie has been performing with Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfe Tones on their Irish and English tours and he is now delighted to now get the opportunity to tour the USA and beyond with the band and actually fulfil his childhood dream.   \n\n\n\n\n\nDerek Warfield’s 50 years of experience coupled with the talent and energy of The Young Wolfe Tones brings the old tradition of Irish balladry into a new age. The story of Ireland is transmitted in their music and song and illuminated by the outstanding musicianship of three wonderful ambassadors of a new generation of traditional players. Kevin & Debbie McDonough began playing music during the pandemic and quickly realized that guitar and flute combined with songs that everyone knows creates a unique sound. \nKevin grew up in New Smyrna Beach\, Florida. He was an ocean lifeguard by day and sang for his supper at night. He cut his musical teeth at beachside bars. Kevin is a fearless performer\, singer\, guitar player and song writer. His music has been featured on NPR and he was interviewed on Story Corps. \nDebbie is a classically trained flute player performing in marching bands in her middle and high school years in Winter Park\, Florida. Musically\, she transitioned to an accomplished lead player on flute complimenting Kevin on guitar & vocals. \nThey play many genres including 60’s\, 70’s\, Folk\, Soft Rock & Blues. The Beatles were his inspiration and he’s proud to have played in 28 bands\, but this Band is a chance to play the songs that made country music great. \nRon Burruano – Keyboardist – Originally from Buffalo New York\, and has made South Florida his home since the 80’s. Not only a dynamo of a musician\, but has the ability to make his keyboard sound like a pedal steel guitar to a horn section. \nBill Cerny – Guitarist/Vocals – Born and raised in Miami. Honed his skills playing all over South Florida and the South East. Musical influences range from John Denver to the Allman Brothers.

DESCRIPTION:The Rod MacDonald Quartet is a Palm Beach County-based rock and roll band formed by singer-songwriter Rod MacDonald and three bandmates from Big Brass Bed\, a Bob Dylan cover band the Palm Beach Post called “a rolicking blend of blues\, folk\, country\, and other roots-loving styles…(and) when the singer approached the mike\, you could make out the lyrics.” New Times named Big Brass Bed “South Florida’s Best Folk Band of 2016” with its electric lineup. \nThe band’s two original members\, singer-guitarist Rod MacDonald and drummer Bill Meredith\, are joined by lead guitarist Mario LaCasse\, a virtuoso rock and funk soloist who’s traveled with Copland Davis and The Groove Merchants\, and bassist Doug Lindsay\, who’s anchored popular area bands for thirty years. \nThe quartet\, while still covering Dylan\, other famed songwriters\, rock and blues standards\, also performs some of MacDonald’s work. A nationally-known singer-songwriter with numerous songs covered by other artists\, his 14th album\, Rants And Romance\, was released in June 2023 and spent several weeks in the top ten on national folk dj charts. As a lead singer\, he’s done 40 tours of Europe and festivals throughout the US\, Europe and Australia\, and was named one of the “Ten Greatest South Florida Folk Singers of All Time” by New Times.

It wasn’t long before the group was commanding the attention of the South Florida music scene and sharing billing with major acts like Johnny Winter\, John Mayall\, and James Cotton. They often played events such as Sunfest\, The Riverwalk Blues\, Hollywood Blues\, and the Pompano Seafood Festival as well as regular appearances at Delray Beach’s Jazz on the Avenue and South Florida’s famous “Garlic Fest”. In the past few years the band has opened shows for Jimmy Thackery\, Little Feat\, Grand Funk Railroad\, Sister Hazel\, Royal Southern Brotherhood\, Blues Traveler\, Lifehouse\, Uncle Kracker\, .38 Special\, The Gin Blossoms\, Everclear\, Collective Soul\, Eddie Money\, Hoobastank\, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones\, Trombone Shorty & Oleans Ave\, Three Dog Night\, Rick Derringer\, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members\, Dave Mason of Traffic\, Bob Seger sax man Alto Reed\, and Allman Bros. great\, Dickey Betts. \nFront man vocalist and blues harpist John Harris produces classic blues licks that have landed him solos on 1992 Geffen Records release\, “Coverdale/Page” featuring Led Zepplin’s Jimmy Page. Sharing vocals and solo duties with Harris is talented guitarist Richie Schmidt. These two are supported by a hard driving\, heavy hitting\, veteran South Florida duo\, original Fleetwoods drummer Pete Noble and vocalist/bassist Jim Jones in a tight and rock solid rhythm section. \nIn 1989\, the band released its first recording\,  “First Take”\, a six-song demo cassette recorded at New River Studios in Fort Lauderdale\, Florida. \n1997 brought the band to new heights with their first tour to Europe and continued performances in various parts of the U.S. Their recordings from  “The Blue Collar Band…(Rockin’ the White Collar World)” received great reviews as a limited tour release. \n1999 marked the first full CD release called “TEXAS PARTY KILLERS” on the Fla.Mingo Rodeo label. Several cuts from the CD received airplay on WKPX Radio\, Ft. Lauderdale\, and WAIL Radio\, Key West. The song “The Key” was featured in a local cable TV commercial. 2003 saw the release of “LIVE WOOD” on Fla.Mingo Rodeo Records. This collection of originals and covers\, recorded entirely LIVE\, showcases highlights of the band’s high energy performances. In 2006 The Fleetwoods released an all new Fla.Mingo Rodeo CD of nine never released originals and three select covers titled “RADIO” filled with great music from all over the dial. The released their follow-up to RADIO in 2010. Titled “BLUES HEATHENS” it features a return to the band’s origins in the blues. \nThe band is frequently labeled as “The Longest Running Blues Act in South Florida” and are known as one of the area’s tightest acts …”The Fabulous Fleetwoods!”. Andy Cooney is one of The New York Tenors\, along with New York Italian Tenor Christopher Macchio and New York Puerto Rican Tenor Daniel Rodriquez\, a trio which has been receiving high critical acclaim for a number of years. \nAndy has recorded 19 albums to date\, including Bright Brand New Day with Phil Coulter and his Orchestra. Andy and Phil frequently tour together and in March 2017\, completed a three week tour of the US. Cooney’s latest CD\, Irish Country Skyline\, was released in the summer of 2016 as a journey back to his Country music roots. This release has been getting huge airplay all over Ireland and the UK with his hit singles On The Eighth Day and My Rose of Ballinrobe\, both his own compositions.
